Henry V. Vega

Henry V. Vega is a licensed mechanical engineer and ACTAR-accredited accident reconstructionist with JS Forensic Consulting, with experience in failure analysis and accident reconstruction since 1998. His expertise spans crash data retrieval ("black box") analysis, video analysis, 3D simulations, and forensic audio signal analysis — including published research using audio recordings to calculate vehicle speed and to locate firearm discharges.

Mr. Vega holds a mechanical engineering degree from Northern Illinois University and has published multiple SAE technical papers. At the Crash Biomechanics Conference he will present on audio signal analysis in crash investigation.
