Benjamin Molnar, P.E.

Benjamin Molnar, P.E. is a Managing Forensic Expert at Aperture LLC, specializing in accident reconstruction, forensic video analysis, photogrammetry, and 3D scanning and visualization. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, an ACTAR-accredited accident reconstructionist, and a Certified Forensic Video Technician (CFVT) through LEVA.

Mr. Molnar has qualified as an accident reconstruction expert in both state and federal trials. He has performed peer-reviewed, published research on the accuracy of frame timing reported by video files, instructed training courses, and presented at national conferences. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and is a member of SAE, NAPARS, CA2RS, SATAI, and LEVA. At the Crash Biomechanics Conference he will present on forensic analysis of video files, including frame timing.
